The Group of 77 Drawing Group is a non-profit member-run group that has continued to meet weekly for nearly 50 years. Located in St. John's, Newfoundland, we  provide an opportunity to draw the human figure from life–both clothed and nude. 

The name Group of 77 is a play on the name of the Group of Seven. In 1977 a group of artists who wanted to improve their drawing skills began to meet at the studios of the MUN Extension Services located at 77 Bond Street in St. John’s.

Weekly sessions are held at the Arts & Culture Centre, Studio West 4th Floor.

TUESDAYS

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (nude)

THURSDAYS
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (nude)
